Painting the town RED

J Jannard, founder and hearbeat of RED cameras let it out in his usually way - reduser.net - that RED were moving from their south Los Angeles HQ to a purpose built 'RED ranch' in Las Vegas not ten minutes from the main airport. OK interesting company moves 45 minutes away, big deal. But then JJ carried on with the list of stuff he was to do at the ranch. Like a town centre, hasn't LV got one of those? Then he goes on, a soundstage, limited housing in a 80 acre site. God the man is building Hollywood around his own cameras!

I'm sure if I owned a RED camera I would be feeling all warm and fluffy right now to be part of this growing story - one man's passion for the still and moving image and he's playing Sim City for real..

Perhaps I could get one of those Scarlet's...
