GoPro Seek Technicolor's Help To Increase Image Quality

GoPro has joined up with Technicolor to embed a colour profile in the camera's firmwareGoPro and Technicolor, announced a tie-up at the NAB 2012. They have worked to embed Technicolor’s CineStyle colour profile for the debut of the new GoPro Protune (a free firmware upgrade available for the HD HERO2 camera this summer).

48 GoPro Rig For 'Bullet Time' Video

A 48 GoPro camera prototype Array rig, which was designed to capture 360 degree high definition 'bullet time' video footage of Pro Surfer Mike Fanning in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Below is a new video for international surf brand, Rip Curl, that uses a mobile, waterproof 48 GoPro camera array to capture new perspectives of two time world champion surfer, Mick Fanning, doing what he does best in the warm waters of the South Pacific.  It was shot in conjunction with Tim and Callum Macmillan.

The very small HD camera market just got interesting with the release of the Replay XD1080 camera (above). The important measurements are 28 mm in diameter x 93 mm Length with a 27 mm mounting diameter. Weight is 85g including battery and MicroSD card available to 32GB, 1 GB is 30 minutes.
