Blackmagic Design Re-invent The Broadcast Deck

Blackmagic Design's HyperDeck ShuttleBlackmagic Design has announced, amongst many other new products (check their web site for details) the HyperDeck Shuttle and Studio. The Shuttle is a new disk recorder that captures uncompressed 10 bit SDI or HDMI video onto Solid State Disks (SSDs). It’s also battery powered so it’s designed for recording high quality on location shoots, or for use as a deck with live production switchers. HyperDeck Shuttle is only $345.

Also new is HyperDeck Studio , a replacment VTR product that has two SSDs with function buttons, a jog wheel for jog and shuttle, plus external RS-422 control. The high resolution LCD screen displays timecode and transport information plus a full colour thumbnail preview of the current clip in record and playback. Crystal look buttons give customers full transport control just like a broadcast deck.

The JVC GY-HMZ1U has a 3D data rate for recording of 34mbpsJVC Professional Products unveiled the new GY-HMZ1U ProHD 3D camcorder at the 2011 NAB Show. Panasonic Build Bigger 3D Camcorders

Panasonic's AG-3DP1Panasonic's shoulder-mount AG-3DP1, is a 3D twin-lens P2 HD camera recorder with 10 bit, 4:2:2 independent-frame, full 1920 x 1080 resolution AVC-Intra recording. It offers all the benefits of a familiar, fast, file-based P2 HD workflow including such recording features as instant recording start-up, clip thumbnail view for immediate access to video content on all cards, and a host of time-saving recording modes including continuous recording and interval recording.

Building on the launch of the 3DA1, the 3DP1 is easy to use and now with the additional quality of the AVC Intra codec. The 3DP1 will be available this autumn, supported by Panasonic’s five-year warranty program.
